CANOES PLUS KING RIVER TRIP AUGUST 15, 2015

We will be heading to the River on August 15, meeting at the upper carpark at Lake William Hovell around 9.30am. The river run is suitable for those that are comfortable on grade 2 whitewater and will be challenging.

Must be confortable on grade 2 ( roll preferred) and be willing to take on the challenge of  bigger water. It will be cold but lots of fun. The River run is to be a relaxed run with some instruction and safety.

The King River is nestled in the King River Valley, near Whitfield in Victoria. This River is about 5km of consistent class II – III whitewater, and is a great bouncy run with many play spots for boaters who are that way inclined. The short shuttle means the section can be run a couple of times in one day.

The river trip will take 1 – 2 hrs and it would be possible to do more than one run, as the shuttle is quite short.
